Short-Term Rehabilitation
It is very common for physicians to recommend additional rehabilitation following a hospital stay to ensure that individuals have the strength and independence needed to return home safely. The staff at St. Elizabeth views reconditioning and strengthening as vital components of achieving the highest quality of life. Rehabilitative therapy is centered around the individual needs and goals of each person. Strength and endurance training take place in our newly renovated gym. When the weather is nice, some of your rehabilitation may occur in our specially designed rehabilitation courtyard allowing individuals to practice mobility on different gradients and textures.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is considered a vital part of St. Elizabeth. We offer daily Catholic Mass, continuing the tradition of the founding Daughters of Charity, as well as weekly interdenominational services. Hospice Services
We partner with hospices focusing on compassionate care encompassing the whole person. Hospice, while addressing medical needs, is also addressing the spiritual, psycho-social and emotional needs of each individual and their family as they age in place. Hospice provides comfort and dignity so each person can live their life to the fullest, respecting and encouraging their independence at all times. It creates an environment that allows for life review and for validation of that life lived.
Respite Care
In collaboration with our community hospice partners, we also offer respite care for those residing independently at home.
