Our Message
At Catholic Charities, our values to love, to serve and to teach are foundational to our mission and vision. They not only inform what we do but are the “Why and How” we approach our work and encounter our neighbors. In a divided world, fueled by conflict and hatred, we remain a beacon of hope and promise in service to all. Love your Neighbor is our call to act. These three simple words are understood, yet often ignored. This year, through our example of loving service and advocacy and our bold invitation to others, we are committed to championing the transformative impact that loving our neighbor can have on the lives of people, our community and world.
Our Mission

Our Causes
We act on the call of Love Your Neighbor by serving our community in a wide variety of ways. These efforts come together in six causes, which are all aimed at improving the lives of Marylanders in need. These causes are: Achieving Independence, Aging with Dignity, Empowering Careers, Healing Trauma & Addiction, Supporting Children & Families, and Welcoming New Neighbors. Learn more about our Causes.
