Our Purpose
My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is a comprehensive resource center that is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for women and children who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty in Baltimore City.
My Sister's Place offers two free internship programs for women in need of skills to find employment. One of the internships is a 12-week program that prepares women for careers in the culinary field through food preparation and cooking in a commercial kitchen. The second internship is a 12-week program that prepares women for careers in the clerical field through direct training at My Sister’s Place’s front desk.
